I was thinking of getting something with which to clean/moisturize my fretboard. My guitars have Ebony and Rosewood fretboard's; someone I know recommended Kyser Lemon Oil.
I was wondering what do you guys use? How often do you apply it and what's the normal routine when actually applying it?

I use Dunlop 65 ultimate lemon oil, just spray a little on, work it in and wipe off the excess, couple a times a year is usually sufficient for me, frequency really depends on the player, how much they sweat, how often they play/gig etc.

I pretty much just wipe it down with a (very slightly) damp cloth whenever I change strings.

I use lemon oil about once every two string changes. I wipe a little on an old sock, go over the fret board with the sock and then drink the rest of the oil with a little gin !

I've used mostly Gibson's various cleaner, which all work very well. Then, I usually 100% flannel or cotton rags... Besides, that, and checking hardware, my cleaning routine is minimal.
