24 is more than enough for me, although I think i've only ever gone up to the 22nd fret...

Have you heard of Gary Kramer's F-1's? Utterly impractical. Besides whenever it comes to playing that high, a nice Digitech Whammy pedal will serve me just fine anyday.

t's not like I don't think I think I'm not cut out for such things, though I wouldnt want to put forth the effort pracitcing with frets that small, I mean manufactorers make guitars with frets in ratio to harmonic circumstances of guitars... thats why you never see any 23 fret guitars. I'd assume that 24+ fret guitars would be helpful with classical music, pieces written over the range of E7, say, for voilin parts or something... I just don't see myself using them... ever.
