Well, here they are....please be honest and let me know what you all think.....I know my playing is a bit sloppy in places, but I'm blaming that on the beer.. ;D Sing My Song and MotorDin have 2 guitars, I'm panned left, Brad's playing the solo's. 60 Lb. Head and The Beast is just me on guitar, Brad puts his guitar down for these 2 (and others).. I uploaded all 4 songs on Soundclick, below is the link. www.soundclick.com/havocdin60 Lb. Head and Sing My Song are now on our Myspace page. I think the quality of the mp3's sounds a bit better on Myspace. www.myspace.com/havocdin

It's not my type of music, but it's not like I found it unlistenable either. I think I liked the two with just you on guitar more. The quality is really good as well, in my opinion, especially considering it's live.
What was the plan for this, again? A DVD release?

Thanks for the input man....yeah, we were happy with the quality also (sounds much better when they are not mp3's), the soundguy we work with is great, really knows what he's doing.
Yeah, it's for a DVD release, hopefully anyway. We still haven't heard back from the guy that recorded the video since he told us that he had some tech issues with a couple of the camera's during the shoot....Might just end up getting a few video's rather than an entire live DVD.

Awesome stuff Joe!!!! Everything sounded great to me. Your singer sounds much better now than he did on the old myspace demos. The only thing critical that I'm going to say is, when your bass player kicked on the distortion, his bass sounded like an elephant with the flu puking out fuzzy chunks through an AM radio station (slight exaggeration) . Other than that, everything sounded awesome. The fuzzy bass might have sounded better if he had rolled back the gain a touch and adjusted the EQ a bit.
Keep the hits commin' Joe! A big exalt to you my friend!

It's really good stuff! Heavy, but not over the top, and it still retains a hard rock style to heavy metal, or so I would say. Good job.

Yep great stuff and great audio. Lots of influences shown in those 4 songs. I found 60lb. Head and The Beast the grooviest personally.

A big exalt to you my friend! Thanks Eric....Yeah, when we recorded those demo's we were only a band (with the current members) for about 2 months or something....that was like 3 years ago. Our bass player does go overboard with the overdrive on the bass. I keep asking him not to do that so much, just get's so muddy and crowds the frequencies of the guitars...but he still does it anyway. I'll hopefully post some video's to go along with the audio soon...

Thanks again to everyone for your input, means a lot and helps us out a lot....
Now the big question is, what genre would you all put us in?
I just say we're Hard Rock....but I've heard so many different things it's not even funny...

Hmmmm....somewhere between hard rock and metal, I guess. I'd stick you a little more on the metal side.

I'm no expert when it comes to genre's, there's so freakin many of em nowadays! but to keep it simple i'd pretty much agree with brother earthman and say; hard rock with a touch of metal in there. 'sall good bud

I too would say hard rock with a hint of metal.
I look forward to seeing your cd in the "hard rock with a hint of metal" section in my nearest music store. ;D
