Clicking the URL button on the text editor here will yield this: To which you add your link between the sets of brackets. To do what you want, add an = and paste your address after the first url, but still in the bracket. Between both sets add Clicky, or whatever. Like this: Clicky!Of course, after Clicky! there's the other bracketed /url, which I can't really type here, or else it makes all this a link. Oh yeah, about the pic question. You might check that you're actually editing the size of the picture at photobucket, and not just the viewing size. I did that. If not, and you're sure the actual size of the picture had been scaled down, I wouldn't know of any reason it wouldn't be pasted as such.

Rustee pretty much covered your first issue... I always do links manually without clicking on the link button. I just type [*url=full link]>text you want<[/url*], but without the asterisk.
As for the second issue, I always edit the images size before I upload it. For forums, it's best to keep images no larger than 800x600. So, I'll edit the images size to that (saving it as a copy, so I don't shrink the original permanently), and upload the smaller version to photobucket.

For most picture editing, I use IrfanView, a cool freeware program that has some nice options. Or like I said, photobucket does now have various edit options, and there too you can save them as new copies like Eric (and I) suggests, keeping the original.
