I just knew there had to be some kind of benefit to being such an old fart! I've got a pile of receipts 'this deep' from all of the amps and guitars that have come and gone since 1968. Here's what I have at the moment:
Guitars:
(mid 80s?) Washburn EA20-12B black Festival Series 12-string electric acoustic.
(mid 80s?) Washburn SBT-21 cream piezo-bridge Telecoustic.
(mid 80s?) Washburn A20-CS Stage Series tobacco-burst hardtail 6-string electric
(mid 90s?) Washburn A10 Stage Series Re-issue blue-green Floyd Rose 6-string electric (dive-bomb machine)
(mid 80s?) Odyssey Custom V honey burst neck-through-body, built better than either the Gibson or Epiphone Vs (sounds better too!)
1965 Yamaha SA-30 sunburst hollow-body electric 12-string.
1966 Yamaha SG-2 sunburst solid-body electric 6-string ('The Frankenha') Shows signs of abuse, many strange parts grafted onto it.
1966 Yamaha SG-2 sunburst solid-body electric 6-string ('Peg') Named for Winnipeg, where she came to me from.
1984 Yamaha SBG1000 black double cutaway solid-body electric 6-string ('Brand X', my reference axe),the one all others are measured against, with DiMarzio SCHB & Dual Sound pickups.
1984 Yamaha SBG1000 black double cutaway solid-body electric 6-string ('The Stalker'), with DiMarzio PAF Pro & Tone Zone pickups.
1985? Yamaha SA-2100 wine-red hollow-body electric 6-string.
19?? Yamaha RBX350 walnut 4-string electric bass guitar.
Amps & Speakers:
1994 Peavey Rock Master tube pre-amp.
1977 Ampeg VT-22 140 Watt, 2x12 tube combo, re-capped, and re-biased for KT88 power tubes.
1976 Ampeg VT-40 60 Watt, 1x15" tube combo, rebuilt from a flood-damaged 4x10" combo, Weber California ceramic speaker.
1971 Ampeg V-2 50 Watt, tube head in fugly case.
1974? Ampeg V-2 50 Watt, tube head.
1972? Ampeg Jupiter B-42X 50 Watt, tube head.
2002? Ampeg SJ-12T 50 Watt, 1x12" tube combo, Jet re-issue.
1982 Ampeg G-18 10 Watt 1x8 transistor combo.
2002 WeeBeastie 5 Watt home-built experimental amp.
197? Garnet 4x12 PA cab.
(mid 70s?) Magnavox 15" alnico magnet (2 of 'em), no cab yet.
(mid 70s?) Magnavox 12" alnico magnet, no cab yet.
(mid 60s?) Califone 12" alnico magnet, two open-back cabs.
Stompin'Stuff:
199? Yamaha DG Stomp multi-FX/amp simulator.
1976 Dunlop JH-1 wah pedal.
198? Boss OD-1 overdrive pedal.
198? Boss DS-1 distortion pedal.
2007 DigiTech Bad Monkey distortion pedal.
And yet more stuff:
Samson CT-3 wireless.
Guillemot ISIS Maxi Studio computer recording interface
Superlux PRA-258 microphone
KORG D1200 DAW.
So..., I guess I'd look at getting a solid-body electric 12-string custom made, and I'd really like to have a 1967 Yamaha SG-3, and maybe update my wireless, and there's gotta be some more Ampegs in my future, and....
;D
{Edit: Did I mention that I like old Ampegs? I just got another old V-2. Mwahahahahahahaaaa.... }
