Hey guys, I have a What.cd invite up for grabs if you could invite me to waffles.fm. If you still want to get into what without the invite, you can take the looong route this way: fetchedlist.com/2008/04/how-to-join-whatcd/If I can't get an invite to waffles in a week or so, I'll just give it up to someone on here.

They're private bittorrent websites for sharing music/programs/ebooks.

Is that legal? I've never heard of that either.... Depends on what you're downloading, and what country you live in. So, it is and it isn't legal.

Mmmm....waffles.
But yeah, I hear some ISP's are interfering or totally blocking bittorrent sites/downloads.

Yeah, Comcast is one of them, which happens to be my ISP. They use Sandvine I believe its called and it terminates connections in big swarms. I stick to private trackers and never have any problems. I just keep changing my ports so they don't block them, or if they do, it'll never show.
Bittorent is a pretty quick and effiecient way to share data. It prett much makes a file which tells your computer were to get the data and from whom, and since you download 10 songs from 10 different people at the same time, you can get whole albums in minutes/seconds depending on the amount of sharers and your isp speed.

I'm locking this thread, because it's getting into a topic that it not allowed to be discussed.
