Just thought I'd go on and start the inevitable "what I got for Christmas" thread.
I'll start...
Our whole family is into gaming, so I got us a Playstation 3 with 2 games (Uncharted and Timeshift). Tonja got me some strings, a couple gift cards to some of my favorite places, a nice martini shaker (not sure what they're really called), two sets of playing cards that have beer trivia and history facts on them, a few other little things, and Slash's autobiography "It seems excessive... but that doesn't mean it didn't happen".
Since this was mine and Tonja's first Christmas together, and my first Christmas away from my family in Mississippi, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it has been one of the best Christmases ever.

For the first time in 4 years i actually got to have my daughter stay over on christmas eve so it was pretty cool to be there when she opened her presents on christmas morning and we had a great day! As for presents...i too got Slash's autobiography...also got Hendrix 'live at Monterey' DVD, Oasis 'Lord don't slow me down' DVD, Led Zep 'Mothership' CD/DVD, new alarm clock, Jack Daniels Zippo lighter, 3 bottles of Jack Daniels and a Orange Crush 30r amp, so yeah...one of my better chistmases.

My brother got me a TomTom, my other brother got me a miniature cannon. My mom and dad didn't get memuch since I had a fairly expensive birthday gift, but they got me some Harley Davidson picks as well as some Jimi Hendrix picks that came in a neat metal case, I think thery're suppose to be copy's of originals. Good all around, it makes me more happy when my brothers love they're gifts, not that I didn't love mine.

Several gift cards (guitar center being among them), ratchet screwdriver, some money, r/c helicopter, and Pumping Nylon book/dvd (classical techniques and practice routines). Plus the gifts I gave went over well. Couldn't ask for more.

My mum got me a new graphics card for my PC, Eric Johnson live from Austin TX (awesome cd, would recommend it to everybody), some clothes, and a moto gp helmet money bank. Sophie got me Family Guy seasons 4 and 5, Beetlejuice, and some Thortons toffee (sweet tooth ). Apart from that I got some (much needed) money in a few cards. The presents I got everyone else were well received so it's been a good christmas overall.

I received a china jewlery holder to hold my rings at night, a gift card to buy my robe and other stuff with... a cool new game for my Wii... a pendant necklace from my son and an pinecone ornament from my other son (at least I think that's what it was... lol) and some chocolates... mmmmmm chocolates...lol
Funny thing though... this is the first year I didn't get any socks.... I have a crazy fetish for brand new socks.... I think I'll have to buy some with my gift card... lol

Bloody baby plague ! went up to my folks place with my misses knowing my sister, her husband and their 2 year old kid would be there. This is dead good and all part of the plan. Except they all have the flue. I went out for a pint or 6, lunchtime on Christmas eve and spent the next 4 days in bed shivering, going hot and cold (occationally at the same time) whilts listening to the tender ministrations of a screening 2 year old. Be a while before I do that again.
Happy Christmas !

If you ever need some on the side, baby, you know where I am... Yeah, only a hop, skip, and a jump across the Atlantic.
