I have just had one of the most fun and drunken nights of my life. And tomorrow I have to work 9.75 hours.
I love you, GP.
THat is all.

Which just shows that you have achieved balance in your life, yes?

My wife is as p¡ssed off at me as I've ever seen her, I can smell a lingering waft of vomit and I generally feel like a gigantic, wet bag of sh¡t on so many levels it isn't even funny.
Thank you, alcohol!

I am quite relieved this thread wasn't as outrageous as the messages I've been leaving all over facebook and myspace. I saw the title and was like "Oh God, what did I write....."

AH yes. There must a ben a full moon right round the word recently, cos I got absofucinlootly trashed in Cardiff last Thursday and Im still dreading the terrible things I "probably" said to the more eminent and powerful members of the scientific community !
Never mind, what will be will be, the buggers just know me a little better now !

I puked twice yesterday.
Finally, sometime in the evening I was able to get a bowl of cereal down.
I think I'm about 70% forgiven right now, but I'm not betting money on it.

A couple of days after Eric and I were married, we had a campfire in our back yard, and were sitting around the fire drinking and singing around the fire. While Eric proceeded to drink himself into a stooper... It was quite alarming to wake up in the middle of the night to him wretching like he was going to throw up still lying next to me in bed... Thankfully he woke up and made it to the bathroom.. because I still can't imagine what I would have done to him had he thrown up in our bed.. I think he'd still be sleeping outside... lol

That was one helluva fun night, but I don't suggest anybody try to polish off a 750ml bottle of Smugglers Cove rum. I don't think I've every felt that bad from drinking in my life, and I once got nicknamed "Volcano" after a full night of beer and Jagermeister. On top of the large amounts of rum & coke I had, a mixture of fire smoke and cigarette smoke from my friends really did a number on my lungs too.

I personally find drink-smoking to be a marvelous time.
I just realized, too, that I'm pretty blessed in that I've never really had a hangover. The first time I drank heavily I felt shitty the next day, but that was all just my stomach. I've never had a splitting headache, I've never puked the next day. For me, a hangover is just like, not wanting to have to go to work. And that's also a non-hangover, so. You know.

I've been sick a few times but that's normally before I head off to bed; it's usually the "ok that's enough Sean" sign.
I just end up with the shits and my stomach grumbles for the whole day, but that's about it.
I think the important thing is to try hydrate yourself before you go to bed.

I'm 27... I've still got a little heartburn from Saturday.
You'd think I'd learn...

Here's a tip... If you're going to drink enough to get drunk, make sure that you stick to one type of drink. Mixing different types of alcohol (even just different types of beer) can really do a number on you.

Mixing different types of alcohol (even just different types of beer) can really do a number on you. It can....but like Sean said, the trick is really drinking water before you go to bed. It seems to work flawlessly every time.

Staying hydrated really does help. A good multivitamin can help too. A large glass of V8 can help out in the mornings too.

I usually drink tea and eat something before I go to bed on driking nights.
