I just cleaned the stove, inside and out and there's nary a dirty dish in the apartment. Probably going to sweep soon.
I'm waiting on UPS to show up with a package so I can go check out some of the local military surplus and sporting goods stores for assorted goodies. The weather is effin' beautiful.
Stupid UPS.

bah, the sky has been pissing on us all freaking day. No presidents day here either. The rest of Canada celebrates "Family Day", but Atlantic Canada doesn't. Oh well, not like I have a job to get a holiday from anyway.

I ended up finding something I've been looking for for a while now and something else which (I hope) will end up being fairly handy.
Sporting goods store was closed for the holiday... ridiculous.

From what I've been able to deduce, the whole point of the day is to 'Keep it Riel.' I actually had to work anyway, but it was time and a half. So I win. Eat that, Louis.

I don't know about you Canadians, but here in the US President's day is about as useless as it gets... unless you work at a bank, or the post office, or in goverment building... y'know, anywhere important that effects everyone.

My dad works for the post office, and he just loves to rub it in when he gets to take those holidays and the rest of us don't.
