I will be enjoying 2 new beers that I picked up earlier (their names escape me at the moment). Other than that, probably a couple of Keith's Traditional Lager. I'll also be putting a couple of steaks in a bath of Guinness over night, and then grill them while drinking on some more beers tomorrow

I will be drinking nothing tonight...I went out last night with a friend from work and got pretty drunk, which was not planned. I'm drinking coffee like crazy right now just so I can stay awake long enough to get some work done on my stupid philosophy essay.

Sorry I missed this one last night. Let's see, last night was Old Bushmills over ice and a couple of hours trying to write a CD review. I am going to have to re-write the whole damn thing since the whiskey effect kicked in half way through and now it makes no sense whatsoever.
Friends don't let friends type drunk.

Craig! You missed out buddy! here's how the day started...food is ready for the grill, and Guinness is ready to drink...these keep my feet warm (not sure why Tonja took this pic)almost doneready to eat now!I'm hurting by nowThese turned out to be some of the better steaks that I've cooked in a long time. First, I let them marinate over night in a pint of Guinness. Then I let them get to room temperature and poured out the Guinness, and covered them in a no salt dry rub mixture I made, and let them sit for about 20-30 minutes. Then they were grilled until they were medium (Tonja's until well done), and then I sprinkled them with a bit of salt and added a couple pats of butter. For those interested, the dry rub contained (no ideas on quantities as I added until it tasted right): garlic powder onion powder coriander powder (a little goes a long way) paprika red pepper ground blend of 3 peppercorns chili powder (a little goes a long way) absolutely NO salt... salt dries meat out. you can add it later with better results. I cooked the steaks on a medium-low heat, so they were fairly evenly done throughout.

So, what's your plan for tonight? We're going to a pot luck at the church, so we'll be getting our bellies full there. Once home, I'll most likely be partaking in the consumption of a few beers while watching a movie or playing the PS3.

I went to a wedding today, and had some Jim Bean Whiskey mixed subtely in coke...*the soda. I dont think I should have, since I had just taken some pain killers for a horrible headache, which was not alchohal induced. The night is still young; my sister is now a certified EMT, and was given a bottle of 1800 whiskey or rather, tequila i think. i'll be enjoying that as well... i'm already getting a buzz, the room is hazy, which will probably account for my horrible spelling. please forgive; I'm sure you all will understand.
