You should have gone to your driving lessons drunk. I told you so.
Speaking of which I'm free from the man and all the dui fines so now I'm actually earning money. And I'm not drinking and driving in more because in Virginia now on top of the fine there is a ridiculous additional fine of... more than 1000 dollars. They're adding extra fines to bad driving instead of raising taxes to pay for road work. Yeah I'm bad at explaining these types of practical things... but now I'm not speeding anymore or boozing before driving.

Holly, great work on not drinking and driving. Basically, my third driving lesson, I was: -driving too slow on straights -driving too fast around corners, to the extent where I almost missed a few corners -driving too close to parked cars -driving in third instead of first at some points I even managed to drive up a kerb at some ridiculous angle. I think the quote of the lesson was "pull out... pull out... pull OUT... PULLOUT" from my driving instructor as I almost hit a parked car. Basically, so far so good.

I just remembered the only time I didn't drive too close to parked cars was when I went past an Ice Cream truck. Because Ice Cream trucks are scary.

Thats the great thing about living in the country, you get plenty of experience before you actually get your permit/license. Its funny though, because when I was coming home today and I was coming to a turn when I saw a car coming from the other way. She put on her right signal, got in the right turn lane and slowed down, so I made my left. She turns off her signal, floors it, nearly hits me, then honks her horn like I'm th asshole.
IMO, its close calls that make a person a good driver, it works up they're responses as well as what to do/not do next time something like whatever happens.

Backed into a parking space using the door mirrors caus i noticed nothing was parked in the row behind, didn't notice someone had moved one of the the parking bay posts! had i used the interior mirror i would have seen it moral? don't ever get complacent when behind the wheel! i'm a car mechanic so i drive all sorts of cars all day every day, should have known better!!!
