I mix sliced potatoes with heavy cream and salt. Then take garlic and rub the inside of a cooking dish with it. Then put in the potatoes and cream and spread it around evenly. Cover the top with shreded parmesian cheese and bake till the top is evenly golden brown. It goes great with steak and other beefs. Saw it on a public television cooking show a while back. It looked good on Tv so Ihad to try it. Now its a family favorite.
