Hey guys.
I got my new marshall valvestate 265, and I love it. But one of the 12 inch speakers doesn't work...I've connected and reconnected the wires to the speakeres, but nothing. Any advice guys?

Sounds like a wire has come loose somewhere along the lines. I'm afraid that I won't be of much help beyond that.
Great amp though. I used to have the valvestate 100r version, and wish that I had held onto it. Hope you get it sorted out!

Have you tried swapping the speaker wiring around to determine if the problem is with the speaker or the amp?

there was a thread about this at G T and I seem to remember someone suggesting connecting a 9V battery to the speakers connections and watching see if the cone moved. However you might want to check with LATS and this may result in an atomic explosion or similar !

If I'm not mistaken, the 9v battery trick is used to test the phase of the speaker.

yep but if the cone has seized i.e. the speaker is totaled, it wont budge
