I'm uninspired by guitar at the moment. And I hate how the weather keeps messing with the set up with my guitar, the action and intonation is all over the place.

It happens to us all dude, it'll pass, find some new music to listen to or go to a gig, usually works for me as for the guitar, well you will buy these expensive axes on the assumption that there good, get yerself a stagg S300 for £80 and change the pups for some decent ones, mine rarely goes out of tune, the action is consistant and the intonation is spot on, whatever the weather, all that glitters ain't gold

It's just annoying that it happens at the same time as my motivation dip.

I've been in a low spot in the past month or so. Its like in the afternoon I want to play for hours, but I can't cause of work. Then later on when I usually play, my desiree drops greatly. I need a boost but don't know what it is yet.

Try going to a gig, jamming with someone new or who you don't often jam with, listening to or playing a style that you don't often play. Those things usually work for me. But if nothing seems to be working - this is just a very tentative suggestion, but perhaps have a noodle around on another instrument for a little while? Bass and keyboard/piano/synth are good stepping stones from guitar. Maybe playing one of those - or indeed, something more exotic - for a while will whet your appetite for guitar again, and maybe inspire you to incorporate something new into your playing.
