I'm sooooooo bored. I have nothing to do at work and its killing me. Drinking water is even amusing to me at the moment (I'm trying to see how many glasses I can drink before I get off (which hopefully will be early). Well atleast I'm getting paid.

My dad always complains about how he never has anything to do at work, and I don't get it. To me, a job where you do nothing is the perfect job. Just like, keep a book handy at all times. Problem solved, and you get paid for it.

You can't sit in an office and have your boss see you reading a book. That's just bad policy. So instead you goof off on the internet (atleast it looks like you're typing something then).

I can remember having days like that. Even though I was able to just goof off all day, it still got really old having to be confined in a small room all day. I wasn't going to complain though, because the pay was good on those days, lol.

Problem solved, and you get paid for it. My last job was somewhat like that. But believe me, even with the internet and books, it gets really old pretty quick. Time goes by so sloooowww. And then they took the internet access away altogether. ..leading to doodling in paint: That killed about an hour and a half...leaving 6 to go. You get my point.

Actually, I'm kinda regreting (whatever) getting this job of mine... I thought renting violins to soccer moms would be more fun that it truly is. I've learned more by jamming with coworkers than I have actually working there...
My my, the pay sucks...

No job is fun. I've only had a few, but that is what I've concluded. Hopefully one day I'll change my mind after paying thousands and thousands of dollars on getting a degree so I can get a job I like. Doubtful still. The only way I'd like a job is if it was laying around starring at the ceiling all day. I could handle that.

Bored? Try claims adjusting. It's a nice 70 hour week extending into your evening hours and weekends.... and the pay does not justify the hours. What fun!

Even with yelling, long hours at times, and night jobs. MY dad has his own underground utilties company, and my brother runs the philly crew. Its interesting when you get reamed out by your brother at work, then ride homw with him, then chill out in the same house haha. Even more so, 3 of our friends are also on the crew.
