Some of you literature buffs may especially appreciate this site, where you can flip through every page of really old and rare books. But there's books of all kinds...science, mathematics, philosophy, history, art, etc. There's even quite a bit of Beethoven or Mozart's sheet music.

If you look under "medicine" there are two books one by an Italian, Andreas Vesalius and the other by the guy who discovered the duel circulatory system (Wiliam Harvey). Both are seminal works and well worth a look. The Vesalius book (de fabrica from 1543) is a first Ed and was one of the first books to be made using a newfangled device called the printing press (and look at the trouble that caused !).
Cool hu !

Been there before myself. Wonderful stuff. Thanks for reminding me of it. You....you knew? And you didn't tell us? I....I need to lie down. Sorry. I should've said something. Let me find this other one I go to - it's a link with Penn State University that has a rare book database. There's one for Harvard Uni too but I've only ever been there once before.
