Well I thought I pulled a muscle in my back about two days ago. My mom and dad both have back problems so they gave me muscle relaxers and hydrocodone. Soooo as you can imagine I was feeling a whole lot better zoning out in this big green easy chair. Today I decided when I woke up and felt a bit strung out and my back still hurt. Soo after whining and crying for the whole day we went to the ER. Sooo I go in and almost immediately they figure out I have a kidney infection (my lower right back was hurting). I got this probably from the UTI that I was going to the doctor about today, but I didn't think I could make the hour drive to it. Soo conclusion... don't try to medicate yourself and if your lower right back hurts it could be your kidney. Word.

I had pylonephritis when I was a kid, and I can tell you that kidney infections can be dangerous! Get that looked after, and take good care of yourself.

I constantly chug on water, it's like some sort of strange addiction.
Consequently I piss like a champ.

Just purchased one of these: This will leave me with up to a full 6 liters when I step out the door every morning (plus the stupid 1qt canteen they make us carry around).

Six litres? I bet that's a bitch to haul around. I'd be trying to choke all six litres down just so I wouldn't have to carry it around anymore.

My backpack will hold a 6L reservoir internally and two of those on the outside. So that's up to 12L without using up any of the designated cargo area in my backpack.
You think it's a lot of weight now, but wait 'till you see the gleam in some military-type's eyes when they realize that they get to play the "emergency hydration IV pin-cushion game" with some dumbass Private who decided that he/she didn't want to drink water.
My plan (for school purposes) is basically to drink off of my backpack on my way to and from school and then use the one I just bought in the practice areas.
Further on down the road, when my girlfriend and I want to go camping or something, I can be the water mule so we always have a healthy supply on hand.

I love the logo caption:
"HYDRATE OR DIE"
I detect a subliminal message somewhere.
