So I was looking into getting a new graphics card to support a big widescreen monitor for my PC. Turns out my processor is very old (PCI) and there are next to no good cards compatible with it, nevermind ones that support a widescreen resolution. Looks like it's time for a new machine.

It sucks having to spend gear money twards a computer, but you'll be happy once you get a new puter. I have a 15" lcd monitor that I wish I could double up and use a dual monitor display, but its in a cubby hole and I only have 10 more inches of space. I can't wait for the new house to be built.

Alllllternatively I've managed to find a PCI graphics card, it's only a 128mb one but it's the only one I could find and it supports the resolutions needed for a widescreen monitor. Besdies, it's better than the onboard 64mb crap I have now. That and a gig more RAM and wahay!

I wish I could have no job and then get a new computer. I have to pay about 75% of it back. I don't have a job because I live at home so I don't need to; I'd rather put more time in to my degree.

Are you going to drop out of university to pursuit your long dreamed aspiration of becoming a full time factory worker?

Haha, oh yes. Nah, the job is just for the 4 month summer break. Assuming everything goes well that is.
