I was just on that other forum looking at the 10th anniversary thread concerning the gear that's going to be given away...
Isn't it funny that most of the people who posted there only have 1 post to their screen name. Like I said in a post on that thread, I wonder how many of those screen names have the same I.P. address....Or is that possible?

I don't know which is more sad....All the people (or person ;D) jumping on the boat to win a prize....or the fact we both noticed that.

I think it's silly how Jon allowed anyone who joins the forum during May to be in for that prize. I understand he wants to attract business, but it just seems like it's gonna add another 2348570487603 members who join and never contribute anything.

Well, he did say you have to be active in May, so mabey one post in that thread won't count. If it were up to me, I'd only have it for anyone who actually participates in the forums.

I'm sure he said you only had to make one post during May, I also noticed that when I received my newsletter - it said if you subscribed to the newsletter you were automatically entered as well. I think this is basically a market study... a pretty good one at that. He's getting a good idea ( a pretty good percentage) of who actually sees the site and advertisements. People pay a lot of money for that type of research.

Way to be sensible and ruin everyone's good time tonja. GEEZ! I hate even trying to compete in those type of things because I KNOW that i won't win. I've retired the hmm from neglect and lazinness. Typing three letters takes a lot of effort. My job is soooo ideal right now, nourishing my laziness and internet addiction (minus the myspace and msn chats, which actually are the main supplements to the addiction). It'd be capital if I didn't have to get up at 4 am. But i work 6 to 2 which makes for a long afternoon. Plus I get trained in J.D. edwards at some point this summer which may be useful in the future. Maybe. Yeah but just for reference on the new site or old if you're bored during the dayish you should post, because I'm bored.
