The last time my home town was in the headlines, it was because a couple of students from my high school had stabbed two Dartmouth professors to death.

Hmm mine was for being one of the first high schools in virginia to give piss tests to athletes (somehow the starters usually were never tested with the randomness and all). Marijuana is good.

My town was in National Geographic in the 70s because we're the "Garter Snake Capital of the World." We actually get in the news pretty often, usually due to people dying in car accidents nearby or pot-farm busts.
