Oh.. maybe that you need a shower... ;D The thing is I got one before I left Sophie's; I could have just taken some shampoo and bodywash with me and done it in the street. Of course there might have been a few legality issues.

Seems it's been the wettest June since records started... I personally dont really mind the rain, but it's caused a lot of people a lot of grief. My gripe is it's totally wrecked the cricket season... I finally get Sky TV to watch the cricket and... rain, rain, rain!

It should be... the people down there are worth more... Looks really bad actually - all the areas around me are flooded. I'm very lucky to be on the top of a hill... and even then the water went blasting past my back door like a river. The cat jumped so high in the air it must have cost her at least 8 lives....

We got off lightly where i live but i feel sorry for the thousands of folk who have been flooded out, the pictures in todays papers made grim viewing, for many of them it's the third time in three weeks that it's happened! still, on a brighter note, it'll keep the enviromentalists happy, with all the roads flooded we'll all have to buy canoe's to get around

I caught some of the footage on the news last night... just terrible. In British Columbia if the heat wasn't bad enough - some poor escavator worker cracked an oil pipeline in a suburban neighborhood basically coating a whole block with raw crude oil. What a write off that will be for all those houses... they dig up everything even if a small oiltank on someone's house leaks a bit... It could always be worse - I guess.

Its dry and freaking hott hear... the only cool days we get on weekends when I don't have to work. The only rain we get is after work so I haven't received one rain day working construction this summer. Ah well, I've made up for it by taking days off (like today) and hide inside. Yesterday was a one day cool front, which was nice. I still spent most of the day inside though.

yeah, it does suck when you wake up to several inches of snow.... On those days, I'd just rather not even get out of bed! But, Tonja has to go to work, and her car can't make it over the 3 foot mound of snow that the snow plow created. So, I have to go scrape the snow off her car, shovel our driveway, and then fight with the big white pile of shit at the end of our driveway. Then, if I'm real lucky, it will continue to snow, and the snow plow will come back before Tonja comes home so I have to shovel more of the white shit so she can get in the driveway. I don't let it stop me from grilling though There was about 8-10" of snow on the deck and grill before this pic was taken:

Rain all day over here too. A couple of weeks ago we had huge flooding in my county. I don't mind it though, so long as i'm not outside. At least when it rains it cools off which means it's better to play guitar; my house doesn't have air conditioning so it can get kinda warm. Rain in England??? that is so strange!!
