This is just getting rediculous... The only thing that will come of this, is that courts and government will see how rediculous this is and shoot down most of the copyrightings laws.... they are being too greedy and will end up with none. They are going way too far with this - havent they ever heard the story of the greedy dog and the bone.

Jeez, what a bunch of jack-booted thugs. So what's next? I have to pay someone for the right to sing "Rock Lobster" as loudly as possible when I am completely fu*ked out of my gourd, walking around my house in my bath robe and combat boots after a night of drinking? Ass-bags. All of them.

Incredibly, It's always been the case. A guy here in the UK got prosecuted a couple of years back because he was judged to have been 'transmitting'...
He was in his car with the window open... and I'm not kidding. Hopefully RadioHead's new album will do well on the 'pay what you like' idea, and there will be little for the shiny suited twats with ponytails to do...

Sit back guys and watch the record companies go bust through their own greed, they've screwed too many artists over the years, remember Prince's big legal battle with his record company a few years ago? he's just GIVEN away his latest album in the UK for FREE! well that is to say he sold it to the Mail on Sunday newspaper for £250,000 and they gave it away (that REALLY pissed off the music industry!) George Michael also had a big legal battle with his record company, his next album will be download only from his website for a very small fee to cover his recording costs, again no pennies for the record company, Oasis's domestic releases are all through Oasis own record company Big Brother Recordings so they are their own bosses, they only have a record contract for international sales which generally total less than their domestic sales anyway and their latest single is.........surprise surprise, download only from their website, then, as ren mentioned, radiohead, Thom Yorke has been quite scathing of the music industry over recent years so its no surprise he's bypassed them with his new album, afterall, who needs a record company when you can release you material on the internet.
