I know many here aren't American so it's just another day, but regardless, just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Life is good!

Hahaha. This thread was responded to by an Australian, a Canadian and two Brits. I love American Thanksgiving.

Well, I would think that most of us Americans have eaten our fill and have fallen asleep on the couch watching football. I just wandered in here after a long day of shoving waaaay too much food into my mouth and playing cards so I am just now having a chance to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to all.

Yep. I'm a night owl, but it took effort not to fall asleep awhile ago after getting home. And then I ate a piece of pumpkin pie. Mmmm, but that didn't really help either. I'm still perty tired, but I wanna play a bit before giving in.

I'm glad Canadian Thanksgiving is in October...it would be too snowy to have it this time of year. Thanksgiving isn't really Thanksgiving unless you can look out the window and see orange and red and yellow leaves.
Must suck for the northern states...

We have only had one dusting so far and it melted already... but all the leaves are off the trees now... so yeah it would be kinda gloomy to have Thanksgiving this time of year here as well.

Yeah, it's just kinda starting up here. Normally - out in Inwood, anyway - we'd be covered in snow by now. Damn global warming...

Until yesterday, our highs were in the 80's still. Then a "cold" front blew in...now it's in the 50's. That's pretty cold for us so far. Snow? I wish. That would be fun, for awhile.
