$900 on sale at GC Crunch time!!!!!! this has a very thick warm tone.....great for metal...well that depends on the amp somewhat of course...a Fender twin, not so much I also was looking at the Schecter C-1 Classic, a very pretty guitar..nice sound but very thin compared to this on the same Marshall I used in the store(sorry Elk...Schecter still is a great guitar though)...word of caution, out of the 4 I tried. this was the only one with good intonation...another had a giant chip out of it!! try them out as they will vary...fret access is crazy good...I like the built in armrest as well ;D comfortable sitting and standing...very happy with purchase.

Very cool guitar indeed! I've never played one myself though... I'm more of a standard body shape kind of guy. Glad to see that you're keeping your GAS in check though

Sweet axe, I like the finish on it, gives a rockin' guitar a more subtle look.

thank you for the comments....it is actually alot more comfy then one would think...great balance...oh and the clean is beautiful as well...Clapton used this on ---EC was Here and the Oceans Blvd. albums. I sold my Epi and my Jackson to help me with the purchase....Recovery works ; )...now I only have 3 guitars. --Akira, the finish is natural...the pic does not show the wood grain as well as it should. but it is subtle...as your Jackson is subtle ;D NOT!!!!

A freind of my dad brought in this old Explorer... The serial # is 80235500, So I think it was made in May 1980, if my Serial # skills are down pat. For the longest time I thought they were really ugly, until I sat down and played it. It was really great. It's got these racing stripes around the furthermost appendage, in black, over a soft yellow finish... Nitrocellulose, was it? I dunno. It was a wild peice. I'm gonna look at them from now on...
It's kind of sad- You never see these things around anymore. That guy from Atreyu plays one, though I don't think it's a Gibson...
