I just got my Parker PLEK'd and it plays beautifuly, though I just found a little crack on the fretboard at the first fret, so I suspect humidity, or dehyrdation- It made me feel horrible. I've nicked the paint quite a few times, which is something I've to expect, and passively accept, while owning guitars, besides, I LIKE the look of a guitar with some scars on it, showing where it's been, whos played it, what's happened to it, kinda like the rings of a tree... A physical record. But still at the same time, I don't like it when such things happen to my pride and joy.

It's nothing more than an aeshtetic issue, it's more like the an equivalent of someone having a wrinkle. Nothing more.
