The oft discussed oft misunderstood Circle of 5th (Cycle of 4th) Go clockwise one section.....You travel a 4th and add a sharp with each section. Go counter clockwise...........You travel a 5th and add a flat with each section. The inside circle shows the relative minor of each major key Feel the power.........use the power..........be the power If the image is not clear, right click on the image and then click view image for a better look

Should one want to find the relative minor without that complete inner circle from only the major key circle, it's always at a 90 degree (clockwise) angle. For more in depth complexities, I stumbled across this page awhile back.
